Ugh, the room was terrible! We will leave a bad review at the least, probably. Though it looks like it's not an uncommon experience, and the typical management response appears to be "you picked the cheapest hotel, so what did you expect?"
The bullet holes were pretty yikes, though. I did look to see if there were any local news articles, since the candlelight memorial thing makes me think someone died, but I couldn't find anything.

I'm SO glad the dogs were good! I didn't expect major problems, but I also didn't really know what to anticipate from Bella.

Why are long drives so tiring? I would have expected Alex to be tired, because actively driving IS tiring. But I was just sitting there, lol.
