October 9th/10th: The Park
(Pics of spiders, insects, and dogs per usual. A mix between the two days.)
Our weather in early October really was beautiful, so we wanted to take advantage by going outside and enjoying it. A lot of days we weren't able to do bigger stuff, but we could at least head to the city park.
And then there's Bella...

She can look quite lovely, (if a little spacey.)
Or.

Here she is running full-tilt for off-leash energy expulsion.
Majestic.

The fall colors were just starting.

My spider friend! She was still hanging out in roughly the same place on her flowerhead, and had caught herself quite the meal! (I like that you can see much of her web here.)

Look at that delicious wasp snack!

A very cute little honeybee! On such lovely purple flowers.

I couldn't decide which picture I liked better.

I'm being judged.
I think she did wind up being the last mantis we saw for the season. (She had a little mark on one wing that was fairly recognizable - I think we also saw her on the "four mantis day".)

So pretty.

And a moth! A "plain" one, but I love the fuzzy legs and the patterns on the wings.
I still feel like I didn't appreciate October (or fall in general) the way I'd hoped to - it went far too fast and in a blur of too much "regular life". (I tried to do my autumn devotional thing to stay a bit more mindful of it, but success was mixed.) Still, it's nice that we did have some days like these ones, where we were outside in the sun.
