This week I took off part of the label from one of the cans of cider we went questing for on my birthday! Original Sin Black Widow cider. It's blackberry! And it is so damn tasty. Plus the cans are very cool.

This was sort of a weird week. It felt like part of the week just disappeared. Maybe in part because we had no internet for a few days, which probably says something bad about me, if that made it feel like the time just didn't exist! Otherwise, the week was fine. This was when I really decided to refocus and figure out a real plan to work on my friend's book over the next month, and it left me feeling quite optimistic.

Goals for the week:

• I did not finish chapter 15 of Steffi's book
• I did not update my reading page
• I did finally pay my med bill from when I went to the clinic. (And I am still mad about it; I called my insurance company and was told it would be billed like an urgent care appointment, because there are zero covered urgent care locations in the entire state of Colorado. It was NOT, and I owed almost twice as much as I was told I would. I'm glad I went to get checked out at the clinic, but I also absolutely would not have done so if I'd known it would cost as much as it did.)
• I did finally request my BC px be renewed, which was a longer and more annoying process than it should have been. (Stop sending dead links in your automated emails!)
• I did read more of The Name of the Wind
• I did put together my new writing plan for April and beyond
• I did catch up on DW after falling behind while I was without internet
• I did a project at work for our compliance office

• Attention to Media - 7/7 - Sunday, watched/listened to some youtube video essays at work; Monday we had the mediocre sci-fi show Psi Factor on in the background, since I have a thrifted DVD set and our internet was down, but Alex needs background noise to sleep; Tuesday we went to see Imaginary which was pretty decent, and later watched The Princess Bride on DVD; Wednesday I do not remember; Thursday internet was back, so watched a pretty bad Lifetime thriller Vanished in Yosemite; Friday half-watched some true crime documentaries in the background; Saturday watched a Norwegian comedy/horror called There's Something in the Barn.
• Video Games - 6/7 - replaying Skyrim, because I don't have to think too hard but can have fun with it
• Social Interaction - 3/7 - having no internet really cramped my socializing outside of work or Alex!
